WotC WINS?! New TSR Files for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy!
2,304Wizards of the Coast might win the trademark case against New TSR by default as it's being reported the company has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. This means the company ceases operations and has to sell off assets to pay creditors. The court case has been suspended, but there might not be a company left to sue.
We recap the situation with TSR 3.0 vs. WotC, and talk about the latest update. This would seem to be the actual end, again, as the company looks like it's being dissolved.
However, Wizards of the Coast are definitely not the "good guys" here. This is the same company that tried to steal fan creations with OGL 1.1 and also sent Pinkertons to a guy's house over some leaked Magic cards.
