In the alpha version of Warlords of Draenor, Gorgrond had a very different appearance than when released, being less lush and containing more deserts and Iron Horde structures. The old version was not left unused however, as the Mag'har scenario in Battle for Azeroth, taking place 30 years in Draenor's future, was based solely on the alpha version of the zone. Enjoy!

Outside the playable area in the Battle for Azeroth version, the terrain is virtually unchanged, and so it isn't shown.
