Hi everyone!
Here first gameplay in WRC 9, setting the TV camera to get all the action in this Rally Japan. On this first gameplay of WRC 9 you can see Rally Japan, new rally of 2020 season. Rally Japan already was in the WRC, but a lot of time passed since then and now this is a completely new tarmac rally for the 2020 season. So for the first time, in WRC 9, Japan is included in the WRC game series.
On this gameplay you can see the Hyundai I20 WRC 2020, with Sebastien Loeb behind the wheel.
WRC 9 is, clearly, a continuation of WRC 8. Graphics and illumination improved since then. But for me where the game has really pushed forward is in sound. It was a let down in WRC 8, but now , in WRC 9 the sound is a lot more realistic and immersive, and more close of what you expect from a official WRC game. Indications from copilot now sounds a little more realistic.
What about physics? They improved the sensations in tarmac. Of course, it’s not a pure simulator, maybe more like a semi-simulator, but the game is challenging, and you can feel what the car is doing.
