CS 2 uses DX11 on windows and runs with DXVK on Linux, I've used Proton9.0-1 which is what Steam used at the time of the video.
The CS 2 performs great on Windows, but underperforms a lot under Linux, the GPU load seems to be much higher on Linux, hopefully new Proton Versions, drivers and kernels can improve performance.
Anyway, there is no stutters, but still the performance difference is astonishing bad on Linux compared to Windows.
Regarding stability, I haven't had any crash at all, and played a lot of matches online with 0 issues.
Using percentages to compare performance we got this
Linux vs Windows
1% Low: 35 FPS /69 FPS (-49% performance on Linux)
Avg: 63 FPS / 98 FPS (-36% perforamnce on Linux)
