Counter Strike 2 | Linux Vs Windows | Side by Side Comparation (GTX 1650 Super)
Store Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/730
CS 2 uses DX11 on windows and Vulkan on Linux.
The CS 2 performs great in both Linux and windows, altough it offers more performance on Windows, it is quite noticeable that the CPU seems to be bottlenecking more on Linux than on Windows.
DX11 on Nvidia is historically known for being greatly optimized while CS2 Vulkan API is used more as a compatibility/wrapper than used to take advantage of it's great optimizations, so it seems natural for Windows to perform greatly even without using any Proton.
