Wrecking Crew '98 Part 1: Vs. Eggplant Man
5Learn the rules and be patient. That's the best advice I can give. It's pretty addicting once you get used to it.
To recap: Blue Panels send an attack to the opponents side, consisting of panels rising up from the ground. Yellow Panels send down metal blocks that can only be removed with a bomb panel. Pink Panels send an enemy over to the opponent's playing area. Green Panels turn a set of colored panels into (brick blocks. These (brick) blocks take an extra hit, and may change the color of the panel it covered up. Usually, this attack comes in 2 rows, but can be made strong with attack multipliers (The Mushroom). Bomb Panels can only be brought down by pressing the X button to bring more panels down. Whether you get a bomb is at random. This can clear panels upwards, left, and right 2 spaces. Clearing all the panels gives you a Mushroom, the attack multiplier stated above. Combos of clearing panels boosts attacks as well. Remember, lining up 4 panels in a row of the same color or more is what you want! Stage 1 is a match against Eggplant Man, nothing too tricky. Just remember the rules, I can't stress that enough.
I wonder why NoA waited until now to release it? Better now than never! Our adventure begins with Bowser building high rises to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario refuses to let Bowser repeat what happened 4 years earlier with those hotels, so off we go to stop him as usual.
