In this edition of Wrestling What If's... we go back to War, The Monday Night Wars. Where WCW and WWE battled for supremacy on National TV. and in this unforgiving war we had two groups that changed the landscape of their promotion. its the Battle of The New World Order vs. D-Generation X

During the mid 90's while the War picked up, we seen many of WWE's top stars jump ship to WCW, this includes Kevin Nash 'known as Diesel in WWE' and Scott Hall 'Known as Razor Ramon in WWE'. known as The Outsiders, they were Kayfabe invaders of the WCW from WWE. At Bash at the Beach 1996 The Outsiders aligned themselves with the Hulk Hogan to form themselves as the Heel group The New World Order. thus starting their terror on the WCW promotion, The group became the focus point of WCW as the group became massivly popular, almost putting the WWE out of business. they would soon declare war on WCW and while it has massive success, some state the nWO was one of the main reasons for the death of WCW. With Hall, Nash and Hogan leading the group, it was simply TOO SWEET!

At the other side of the battlefield, We have a group of superstars who like the NWO, didnt listen to rules and rebeled against the authority presented to them. Known as D-generation X. The group originally consisted of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Rick Rude, and Chyna until Shawn was sidelined with a back injury and Rick Rude jumping to WCW. not deterred however, Triple H along with Chyna Recruited new members including The New Age Outlaws 'Billy Gunn and Road Dogg Jesse James" and a returning X-Pax. Together they had wars of their own against The Nation of Domination and The Corperation. on april 27th, 1998. Nitro and Raw both took place in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, a mere 19 miles apart. D-Generation X traveled from the WWF show in Hampton to The Scope in Norfolk'Where WCW was having a show at'and shouted insults against WCW through a bullhorn, as well as accusing WCW of giving out free tickets to fill up arenas for television while sporting black armbands with the acronym POWCW (Prisoner of WCW), which referenced Kliq members Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Througout its tenture D-Generation X was one of the hottest things on WWE TV, and if your not down with that they got two words for ya.... SUCK IT!
