One of the most ambitious crossovers in modern sci-fi was Alien vs Predator, even though it did not ultimately leave much of an impact. With the separate franchises having attained very high popularity worldwide, fan theories of a possible crossover became commonplace across forums. However, after it was actually made into a movie, the concept got a life of its own through comics, video games, novels, and many other adaptations. Sometime in 2020, fans got wind of a fully made Alien vs Predator anime series that was made before the 20th Century Fox and Disney merger, but got shelved big time. Recently, Josh Izzo also confirmed the existence of this series. Although it was produced with all ten episodes and was pretty much ready to be aired, it is now collecting dust in a Disney vault.
