A mysterious contagion called the Feathering Disease ravages the populace—inducing memory loss, insanity, and eventually a transformation into twisted bird-like monsters You play as Bai Wuchang, a female pirate warrior afflicted by amnesia and the Feathering Disease. She retains her consciousness but struggles against its corrupting influence
Wuchang’s journey begins with her waking in Shu, memory wiped clean, and body marked by the disease.
As she ventures through war-torn, plague-stricken lands, her goal is to uncover her past, confront monstrous adversaries, and seek a cure.
Exploration leads her through forgotten temples, overgrown ruins, and treacherous pathways—each revealing clues about the Feathering, the origins of the plague, and Shu’s history.

Along the way, Wuchang interacts with NPCs, takes on side quests, and her choices influence multiple possible endings.
