It is the nineteenth installment in the WWE game series (fifth under the WWE 2Kbanner), serving as the following from their previous game WWE 2K17 (released in 2016). It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 17, 2017, with the Nintendo Switchversion on December 6, 2017.
