Following the latest Take-Two investor call, 2K Sports have confirmed that WWE 2K23's release date is scheduled for Q4 Fiscal 2023, which is the period between January 1st and March 31st, 2023.
This confirmation means WWE 2K23 will likely release in March 2023, with 2K sticking to the same release window seen with WWE 2K22.
Switching over to AEW Games, following the news that AEW: Fight Forever will also release in 2023, a new report from WrestleZone claims that AEW: Fight Forever will be available on Xbox Game Pass on Day One.
If true, the news of the AEW game making it's way onto Xbox Game Pass is huge news for AEW, as this opens the game up to more than 25 million subscribers.
Despite AEW coming to Xbox Game Pass, speaking in the 2K Investor Call, Take-Two Chief Operating Officer Strauss Zelnick reiterated his stance on new games going to subscription services on day one, claiming it doesn't make sense.
Given Strauss' comments, it's unlikely we'll see WWE 2K23 follow suit with an Xbox Game Pass release.
