The latest teaser from WWE Games hint at the addition of a brand new match type coming to WWE 2K25, while other new teasers further hint at the addition of the Island Of Relevancy mode that was leaked last week!
The latest teaser sees Natalya excited to announce something new for WWE 2K25, only to be cut off by Grayson Waller. While the video isn't clear on what the teaser is, the emoji's in the post hint at a the addition of the NXT Underground match, which Natalya competed in against Lola Vice last year.
The tease of the NXT Underground match also appears to line up with comments made by WWE Games Associate Gameplay Producer Bryan Williams, who teased the additional of a franchise first match type that was said to be unique from a visual standpoint and require a lot of heavy lifting and re-thinking about how they do certain things.
Also teased in recent videos is another hint at The Island Of Relevancy, which is speculated to be an open world mode in the style of The City from NBA 2K25, though there's also the possibility of it being a new game mode, similar to the Stadium Stampede match in AEW Fight Forever.
