HERE COMES THE PAIN!

Brock Lesnar, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship superstar, returned to the WWE after much anticipation over the weekend. It had been heavily rumored that Lesnar would be appearing at Wrestlemania 28. However, a Lesnar appearance never happened. Instead, Lesnar appeared on WWE Monday Night Raw during the final segment with John Cena. In the final moments of the segment, Cena extended his hand to Lesnar, only to be met with an F-5 wrestling move.

The return of Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest surprises in recent years. Just last year, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson returned to WWE television after years in Hollywood. However, unlike The Rock, it is being reported that Brock Lesnar has signed a one year deal with the WWE. His schedule will be largely reduced from his previous stint in the WWE. The specifics to his contract have not been made public, but Lesnar left WWE in 2004 due to the hectic road schedule. If history is any indication, Lesnar will have a reduced road schedule, only wrestling at pay per views and the occasional Monday Night Raw television show.

Brock Lesnar will certainly bring a lot more attention to World Wrestling Entertainment. When Lesnar left the company in 2004 to concentrate on the Minnesota Vikings try-outs, and later UFC, the company fell short of main event superstars. Now that Brock Lesnar has returned, there are numerous potential match-ups for the former UFC Heavyweight Champion. One is lead to believe Brock Lesnar's first major opponent in the WWE will be John Cena. But beyond John Cena, there is now a wealth of new match-ups that will certainly pop pay per view buy rates and cable ratings. Brock Lesnar has ready made feuds with old standbys like The Undertaker and The Rock. But in addition to those men, Lesnar also has wrestlers like Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler to play with.

Brock Lesnar's return to WWE tonight was one of the greatest moments in WWE history. Although his return was not a huge surprised to fans who read the visit wrestling websites, it was a huge moment nonetheless. There is no bigger name Vince McMahon could've have brought in at this point. After tonight, only one thing is for certain. Brock Lesnar is back in the WWE and business is about to pick up.
