Well, apparently you have to buy "salvage insurance" for 10 credits each, and that's the save method in this game. Looks as though I might be buying and selling tons of batteries for a while starting out, and that might be a pain, but it's part of the authentic potato gameplay experience.

Hopefully it'll be cooler later on, but doubtless like with Space Commander: War & TRADE it's going to be mostly TRADE that makes everything work while combat probably shall be rather costly per se.
