Additionally to this, after finishing the install and manually copying over the files enter the "XCOMA" folder. Inside the "UFOEXE" and "TACEXE" folders delete the "ufo2p4" and "tacp4" files inside the 2 folders, to make sure the game uses the proper Pentium executables.

Adjust the directories accordingly if you choose a different install path for DOSBox.

The setups "Checking CD-ROM speed..." always takes a while when you use a Physical CD, for me it took almost 4 minutes which I have cut out of the video.
On a Windows mounted image-file it will be near instant.

Do not use Alt+Tab to release the mouse. Instead just press CTRL+F10.
Otherwise DOSBox will think that you are holding down the Tab-Key constantly when you click back into the window. (Just press "Tab" again to fix that in case it happens to you)

When starting the game, enter the Options and check if the Audio-Channels are correct.
For some reason on DOSBox they are always swapped, simply press the Sound Check buttons and then the Swap button.
