The start of an X-Com Enemy Within let's play with special rules.

Rules are as follows:

Second wave:
-Not created equally
-Training Roulette
-Hidden potential

Chain of command:
High ranks: Colonel , Major
Middle ranks: Captain , Lieutenant
Low ranks: Sergeant , Corporal , Squaddie , Rookie , S.H.I.V.

In one operation:
-Max 1 high rank
-Max 2 Middle ranks
-Unlimited low ranks
-Minimum 1 high or middle rank when available
-Highest rank is squad leader

Outside of operations: No limit on how many of each rank in the barracks.

Other rules:
-No gene mods
-Mecs:
-Low rank = max mk1
-Middle rank = max mk2
-High rank = any mk
-Mecs can not be commanding officer

Game is played in normal difficulty.
