We are close. We are getting so close. We are researching the final piece to take an avenger to the last mission. Until then, I am trying to build up a heavy defense team. Though we learned today that the enemy does indeed know where my American base is, no surprise there. I stopped that mission because my guys didn't get properly loaded up. And then decided to just shoot the battleship down with an avenger loaded with twin plasma cannons. Of course, that means that avenger will be under repairs for a while, but there's a second one almost done. I also had a bit of fun today taking a group from my 4th base, full of rookies without armor and using only rifles, and attacked a Sectoid ship. It worked surprisingly well. Good times!

I am planning on spending next week building a high end team. But if that takes too long, I will go ahead and attempt the final mission with the party I have. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
