Despite its name the only thing X-Morph has in common with the XCOM series is the alien invasion theme.
But in this game it's you who are the invader, and your mission is to protect your core from puny humans trying to defend their pathetic lands.
X-Morph is a peculiar tower defense/twin stick shooter hybrid.
I believe this is one of those games that are actually much more fun to play than to watch.
It runs on Linux with the help of Proton, but has a couple of issues so see the Tweaks section below.

Steam: X-Morph: Defense

My specs are:

Distro: Ubuntu 20.04
Proton: 5.0-9
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
GPU Driver: NVIDIA 440.100
RAM: 16 GB

Tweaks: Disable Esync by adding "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%" to your Steam launch command to prevent (or at least decrease the amount of ) crashes.
