0For me personally, I come from Harlem, New York. However, I have rooted for the Los Angeles Lakers since 1995. This even before Kobe was thought of. I was a 4-year-old watching these guys with bright yellow jerseys play. My love and fascination for the #PurpleAndGold grew over time.. Sadly, I am also a die-hard #NewYorkKnicks fan since around the same time.
In my 25+ years as a #LosAngelesLakers fan, I have witnessed(on television of course), 6 championships in my old but not that old life. I turn 30 on December 11th. LeBron turns 36 in December also. Our minds are unique. Saggitarians, I mean. Because, we like to dissect and analyze so much around us. I am not big om astrology but that is somewhat true.
#Lakersnation has grown since 1995 when I started watching from the east coast. My Knicks have underwhelmed since the 1990s unfortunately.. I will always talk smack about them but have a place in my heart for them as well. My main goal for those guys, is just to make a postseason run again.. Then we will go from there... Thibs don't play in his style of coaching... TBD..
