X3 - Albion Prelude - Boron M2 Megalodon vs. Terran M1 & M2 (try #2)
1I just got my extremely costly M2 battleship and wanted to take on all of the Terran forces; never mind they have quite powerful ships and lasers themselves^^
After the 4th try I gave up; my ship may theoretically be the most powerful M2 (especially with the collected tunings), but it's just too fucking huge, which means it is getting hit constantly! (even with the extremely slow Terran PSP)
Conclusion: (one of?) The best M2 is still the OTAS Boreas which is small, pretty agile, heavily armed and has sufficient shields.
About X3:AP
This is the newest game to the X-Series; the biggest additions being:
- higher visibility range
- more armor to battleships and stations (which means longer & fiercer battles)
- additional ships
- independent Terran campaign
- stock exchange (!!): this is probably the most important one, because one can get to money much more quickly, than with Universal Traders or let alone with factories (both needing a lot of money to begin with)
