X79 Overclocking Guide
1,019This is an overclocking guide for beginners to intermediates. In this guide I give information that can be applied to any system no matter what the specifications. I start with the basics and principles in an attempt to properly teach you how to overclock. Instead of just giving you settings I have attempted to give you an understanding of the way it all works so that you can come up with your own settings. Towards the end of the guide I do go through some settings specifically for the Asus Rampage IV Extreme and Intel Core i7 3930K, but only to demonstrate what I have talked about. I also cover stability testing and temperature monitoring which are both important parts of overclocking.
