I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop in the Microsoft Xbox Series X event, but it never did. Tired, re-hashed CINEMATIC TRAILERS do not indicate "gameplay" nor "representative gameplay" and ultimately turned this show from something of excitement to something else.

Smart delivery is still the hidden gem here, as is the promise of many of these games coming to Xbox GamePass. Still, Microsoft has shown us that while they are working diligently to beef up the library, their presentation is not that great.
