There was a format war between Blu-ray and HD DVD back in 2006-2008. Ultimately Blu-ray won since HD DVDs were discontinued in 2008. Microsoft made an accessory for the Xbox 360 that would allow you to watch HD DVD movies called the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player. In this video, I will be unboxing an almost CIB HD DVD Player and discuss why the product ended up failing.
