Personally, the games shown didn't resonated with me, although doom looked incredibly fun and robust. I would have liked to see some really intriguing announcements like the oblivion remake, gears of war and fable. I understand why they didn't show off big games like that, as the developer direct is here to help those studios get interest in their games.

Overall, it was okay, but for me, nothing was really there, hopefully the summer showcase will be filled with a bunch of games.

I hope South of Midnight, Expedition 33 and Doom the Dark Ages do well.
