This will be my Xbox Games Showcase 2023 review. My own Xbox showcase reaction was pretty positive, but as the dust has settled there was definitely elements that were disappointing. I will also discuss my Starfield Direct reaction as well. We finally saw more Hellblade 2, Fable, and Avowed, but many are unhappy with what we saw.

Obviously the big Starfield 30fps news hit and those hoping for Starfield 60fps on the Xbox Series X are disappointed. It is also clear that Avowed gameplay isn't as strong graphically as what we first saw. I was happy with the Hellblade 2 gameplay but others thought it was too cinematic. And the lack of Fable gameplay as well as a Fable release date got mixed response.
