Bio: The son of a wealthy Singaporean venture capitalist, Shing’s opulent childhood only emboldened his narcissism and entitlement. Hoping that showing off designer clothes and luxury goods would attract swarms of friends, he failed to notice that his caustic demeanor made him unbearable to be around and left him with people just as pompous and dysfunctional as he was. Moving to Tokyo ostensibly to study business and learn how to run his father’s firm after his retirement, Shing quickly grew bored with his studies and simply stopped attending his classes just days into his first semester. Utilizing the rest of his tuition money to grease enough palms to fill his gang and buy enough supercars to give his teammates something to drive, he began his new life as a professional street racer. Still, that doesn’t mean he’s a poser. Shing and his allies are among some of the most competitive racers in Tokyo and are in possession of some truly powerful prototypes. He’ll only give drivers the privilege of racing him when they prove that they can satisfy his lofty requirements.

Bio: An impoverished street hood who built his reputation stalking the slums of Tokyo, Ichiro was the last person anyone expected to gang up with an upper-class punk like Shing. Still, his days hotwiring exotics and fleeing the cops enabled him to handle the pressure of high-speed pursuits. Impressing Shing in a street race after he wandered into his stomping grounds, Ichiro managed to become the top lieutenant in his fledgling team. However, being around such an impish individual has been grating on his psyche. Although he more than welcomes the exorbitant paychecks and perks of schmoozing with someone of the upper crust, he harbors deep anger towards the vanity of his boss and his equally wealthy “friends”. Secretly hoping that a far more experienced driver will give Shing a reality check, Ichiro can only wait and hope for such a day to arrive.
