To those that argued Xbox One 1080p was a meaninglessness number I say - What on earth are you talking about?
It's as critical to next-gen gaming as you can get and now even Microsoft's devs agree. If it ain't 1080p it's not next-gen.
This also begs the question what on earth did Microsoft think they were playing at, launching a hobble console in the first place when they should have given devs the choice at launch, Kinect or 1080p. Given the general low requirements of a Kinect game it would have been been acceptable to Xbox One devs to lower the resolution if needed to make use of Kinect. Instead Microsoft hobbled all games - even those that made little or no use of Kinect at all. ****
