ps4 remote feels great, finally a ps remote i[john] don't mind playing, I[camile] still don't like the ps remote, but I feel that its a better improvement. we talk about games in this vid, and we both agree that xbox one has the better launch line up and better follow up for 2014, for potential ps4 buyers wait till infamous comes out.
we already recommend[not heavily] you to buy the xbox one at launch, but heavily enforce that when titanfall falls to the x1 in march. we took away some of the x1 score because the Kinect was a forced buy to those who don't want it, but we liked Kinect . when it comes to live and psn we prefer and feel that live is better, sony can try to shove free games at you , but those free games are a distraction to the PlayStation Network outage of 2011,and occasional psn downs for maintenance.
when it comes to price playstation 4 wins, but because there are only two retail exclusives for you to buy and one of them happened to be knack, its just not worth it for now. xbox one cost 100$ more but includes Kinect, it works great as john has shown, and the great launch titles[retail] like dead rising 3, forza 5, ryse, and zoo tycoon, its well worth it .[don't get the fighter within]
we did not talk about features but like many reviews we read we agree that xbox just has more features. lets talk about power, ps4 has more power then xbox one, but the gap to that power is smaller when the 360 and ps3 had their fight, ps3 was estimated by ign to have nearly 3 times the power of the 360, nearly 300%, now ps4 is only around 50% more powerful. so don't expect to much of a difference .
both machine had their share of hardware fails, like ps4 with their blue light of death and x1 disc drive problem , both only effecting 1% of the hardware so far for both. But we felt ps4 should get penalized on its score because their hardware fail cant be fixed as easily as the disc drive problem, at least when xbox one has that problem you can still play games[downloaded ones] and do everything else, while ps4 dies and becomes your new 400$ blue night light.
