Wonder how many people will actually use this. As a gamer, I don't even use the in-game chat, and this just seems like an extra step and too much work, but I guess I'm weird. I play games to get away from social interaction, especially from many of the types of people you normally hear chatting on Xbox Live. Nintendo has chat in the app because they don't have any other way to do it. This doesn't seem like something a lot of people would be clamoring for, but I am encouraged that Microsoft is actually putting some effort into their mobile app.
