Quick Resume is one of the special features of the Xbox series Console and is a technical advancement in software development.

As We get a new Controller game Bar on windows 11 22H2 build, initially I thought maybe this would be useful to do a quick resume to another game but unfortunately, it's not the case with windows. The experience is jittery.

Although I can see with time this can be improved significantly with the implementation of Microsoft DirectX storage API hopefully, otherwise, if you have a High-End PC with above 32GB RAM and a 90 series card powered by i7/i9, you can tell me your experience below 👇🏻

The Experience:

First Of all, at least on my PC with 8GB of VRAM on 3070 Ti and 16GB of RAM can’t handle 3 games opened at a time, I tried but the system get choppy.

With 2 games it can work, but it will hugely depend on the game too, no game is built in the mind of a quick resume feature for windows as of now, so the experience wouldn’t be seamless.

If You open both very demanding games and Memory eater, GOOD LUCK with 8GB VRAM, no matter what, games will have a stutter and astonishing frame times.

PC SPECS:
CPU - Ryzen 5600X
Cooler - Corsair H100x 240ml AIO
Mainboard - MSI B550 tomahawk
GPU - RTX 3070Ti FE
RAM - 16GB 3200 MHz (cl16)
SSD - Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB / Evo plus 500GB

Have a nice day my friends :)
