I managed to get myself an Xbox Series S that was part of a Black Friday sale. normally the system retails for about $379.99 CAD. However during a week long Black Friday sale the price for the system was lowered to $299 CAD- $319 CAD depending on the retailer. Shoppers Drug Mart was the most expensive at $319.99 but you also get a $25 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift card, while Walmart offered the lowest price at $299.99 CAD. Gamestop was in between at $309.99 CAD, although their advertisement that I saw in store listed their systems at $319.99 which seems to be a mistake. I ended up getting the system at Gamestop as I had some pre-orders that I previously made and a sealed copy of God of War Ragnarok that I returned. After all was said and done I walked away with the system for ~$70 CAD. Of course if we take into account the price of the controller which is about ~$75, this means I basically got the console itself for free.
