Xbox shockeert en koopt Bethesda met o.a. Fallout, Elder Scrolls & DOOM
260BAM! Xbox koopt Bethesda. Deze sloeg even keihard in op de redactie! De drie heren waren net klaar met een item opnemen voor de Playstation week toen een van de stagiaires hun dit gloeiend hete nieuws vertelden. Helaas maakte hij een beginners foutje door de camera niet klaar te hebben en hun reactie te filmen. Maar de mannen konden dit nieuws uiteraard niet meteen los laten en daarom zijn ze linea recta weer terug de studio ingedoken om samen even stoom af te blazen en al hun theorieën erop los te laten.
De reactie van Mr. Xbox himself
Phil Spencer kondigde de deal, die in het diepste geheim werd gesloten, alsvolgt aan: "Today is a special day, as we welcome some of the most accomplished studios in the games industry to Xbox. These are the teams responsible for franchises like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, DOOM, Dishonored, Prey, Quake, Starfield and many more.
Gaan alle Bethesda games nu console exclusive worden
Er blijft feitelijk nu nog maar één vraag over. Gaan de toekomstige Bethesda-games zoals Starfield en de nieuwe Elders Scrolls 100% console exclusief zijn voor het Xbox-platform (naast de PC dus). Als dat zo is, dan is dit een deal die weer een de console oorlog weer van een geheel nieuw
