438The latest Xbox news is vast, from the Xbox handheld, to a Sarah Bond video along with an Xbox AMD partnership announcement, they've had a busy week. But I believe that Xbox ally x, the "Xbox + AMD: Powering the Next Generation of Xbox" video, and the Xbox AMD announcement are clues to their exit strategy from making their own hardware. And this isn't a bad thing, but it's definitely not what some think it is.
The video claims "We’ve established a strategic, multi-year agreement with AMD to co-engineer silicon across a portfolio of devices, including our next-generation Xbox consoles. Together, we’re delivering deeper visual quality, immersive gameplay, and AI-powered experiences - grounded in a platform designed for players, not tied to a single store or device, and fully compatible with your existing Xbox game library."
