Xbox Underrated Gem: Armed and Dangerous
74This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the various consoles I own.
Armed and Dangerous is a third person shooter from Lucasarts, and it has that trademark Lucasarts comedy intertwined into it.
On the surface it seem like just another third person shooter, but it's use of comedy, and inventive weaponry really make it stand out from the pack. It even spoofs other Lucasarts intellectual properties.
The game is a simple shoot everything while completing objectives game in the end. The story is progressed through hilarious FMV scenes at the beginning and end of each level.
My only complaints is that it may be too repetitive for some gamers, because of the straight up shoot everything gameplay, and the difficulty can get a little frustrating at times (I'm only playing on normal in the vid and I died many times trying to get some quality footage).
Other than that, Armed and Dangerous is a refreshing experience. If you're into third person shooters of this style, then you owe it to yourself to play this game.
Armed and Dangerous is also available on the PC. It's also Xbox 360 compatible.
