Shadow Labyrinth is difficult for me to describe. In short I guess you could say that it is a reimagination of Pac-Man or Puck-Man if you will. In reality it is much more than that. Bandai Namco calls it "A 2D action platformer and a genre-twisting alternate take on the iconic Pac-Man". I suppose that is one way to word it. To me I would call it sort of 2D Platformer were Pac-Man is a bad guy? Or some thing like that. It is also unique in the face Bandai Namco decided that they were not going to offer the physcial standard edition of Shadow Labyrinth, but instead only offer it on Europe as well as some additional markets, but North America was not one of them. We have seen Bandai Namco do this before with Xbox release that they believe will not sell well in the North American Xbox physcial market leaving Xbox physcial collectors no other option that to import the European release. In this case I think this might have been more than a little mistake before I do feel that this is something new and something celebrate the Pac-Man anniversary and it is a shame that it didn't make it to North America. I do suspect long term this will be a very collectable and one that Xbox physcial collectors might want to hunt down and add it to their collection.
