Spoilers obviously.

This was my first time through so I went in blind. I so nearly tasted defeat and would've had to restart. However, thanks to my soldiers I was able to pull a win out of my ass from what looked like certain defeat (I actually didn't know that killing the Leader Ethereal would actually work, but I had no real choice at the time. Thank god old logic from X-Com still worked!)

1. Erwin Rommel for being such a kick ass psionic, killing Sectopods and surviving to the bitter end and sacrificing himself to save the planet (and my game)
2. Lu Ling Qi for the double shottie in the end taking away most of the final boss' HP
3. Diao Chan and Four Leaf Clover for all the luck manipulating smokes and saves with their medkits.
4. J. Magus for all the double tapping one hit KO
5. Guile for somehow missing a SONIC BOOM at 90% chance and still blasted the Ethereal Commander instead of giving me a game over.

God that was terrible, going to need to take a bit of a break before heading over to IMPOSSIBLE.

Also, do you see more of your teammates in the movie if they survive? I only had Guile on me but I want to make sure.
