0It's all go today at XCOM Africa; we just got back from recovering the crashed raider then a scout lands in a nearby river for a spot of fishing. Needless to say we sally forth with a song in our hearts to steal their stuff and we get a quick and brutal reminder than thin men aren't to be trifled with...
Difficulty: Classic
Modifiers: Ironman, Hidden Potential, Commanders Choice, Bronzeman (In case of bugs. They recommend NOT using ironman and I once lost an ironman campaign from a bug so I figure this is a happy medium)

Never heard of Long War? It's an amazing mod for XCOM that dramatically enhances the game, splits the 4 original classes up into 8 new ones, gives you up to 8 troops on the field at once, adds a vast array of new weapons and makes the aliens harder, smarter and better at their job without cheating. It's so good that the lead designer of XCOM said it takes the game to a whole new level, that's pretty damned cool.

Never heard of XCOM? Shame on you! Go & buy it, it's amazing. You'll need the Enemy Within expansion if you want to play Long War as well though. The DLCs aren't necessary but they are good.
