Which game?

XCOM is the turn-based action-strategy game developed by Firaxis Games, the same company behind the massively successful Civilization games. The game re-imagines the classic UFO: Enemy Unknown/X-COM: UFO Defense and brings its tense, tactical game play to a new generation.

And in my personal opinion one (if not the) best game ever designed.


What is the challenge?

Play the game on the highest possible difficulty (IMPOSSIBLE)

Play it on IRONMAN setting (no reloads, one savegame, every action is permanent).

Challenge:
- Do not loose a single soldier (no deaths, not a single one)
- Do not loose a single country (all 16 countries need to be retained)
- Do not loose a single interceptor
- Play and succeed on all missions

Impossible / Ironman run with an in-game explanation of each of the steps. Second Wave Options enabled:
- Not created equally
- Hidden potential


Who am I?
--------------------
I play tactical games and RPGs on the highest difficulty level, fully enjoying the challenge. I am always trying to improve my gameplay.
During the last years, I finished ironman/impossible already 6 times (including a flawless run with casulties/countries lost), this is the 7th attempt - let's enjoy it and see how it proceeds.
