XCOM TacLegacy Pack - Mission 3, Episode 5
*1440p upscaled*
Hello again.
Don't worry, there's only about 9 episodes left to this series and then the TacLegacy Pack will be over... So I won't spam your recommended tab for too long. But anyway, let's get to the episode's lore.
On day 141, Shen had another operation. This time, a famous underground trader sent a distress signal to the radio. According to it, "Masha" (the trader), possessed a comm module which could be used to connect directly to the XCOM network. Shen understood that this one is a grave danger to them. and so she blazed back into the action.
According to Lily, Tygan was already with XCOM, placing the timeline of this mission in early 2030s... The stuff she got at the UFO crash site was quite vulnerable to that comm module, and this was the last clear sign of what had to be done. When Shen arrived at the site, she couldn't help but remind herself of what situation was when her late father and herself were into it in the past. The grimdark abandoned streets, coupled with lurking horrors were nothing short of a scarring flashback... Lily Shen was still grateful to Bradford and Jake Levy (the DJ) for saving them from their fate back when the central officer saved the king of the waves from his mistakes.

PS: I tried actually doing Impossible Ironman in Enemy Unknown for 4 times without any beneficial Second Waves (no William Thomas).
So, what's my experience that I'm sharing to you?
Well, I can get through the March and even do non-timed Council Missions because I now understand how Thin Men spawn thanks to my Classic Ironman LP... But April is where everything goes to hell. I could handle Floater squad, but I couldn't handle the fact that they crap in their pants panicking and go back doing perma-Overwatches that guarantee a death to a soldier. And Seekers, instead of strangling people, just go boom-boom on my soldiers, instakilling them.
Not to mention, I have such a bad luck that I manage to find several squads either near the Outsider in the UFO (which gives aliens a LOT of advantage), teleporting into my field of view while ignoring overwatches or finding two-three squads of aliens at the same spot, and they proceed to annihilate my squad.
The maps are also horrible for me and very good for them... though I managed to do the awful train map without injuries...
Plus the engineer/scientist rewards are in my home continent instead of the continents that require lowering panic immediately...
And I kid you not, when I try to level up soldiers to Heavy/Sniper, what I get are the Assaults. I DON'T NEED 6 ASSAULT SOLDIERS, GAME, GIVE ME ONE HEAVY PLEASE!
So I can't do Impossible Ironman in Enemy Unknown, I'm afraid. Really, TFTD on Superhuman Ironman without Molecular Control is easier than this bullcrap! And I think that Long War on Brutal is more fair than this crapshow as well!
If I actually manage to do this crap even off-screen, I'm uploading a video consisting of end-game stats to prove that I managed to pull it off even if it is without gameplay.
