XCOM: Enemy Within + Long War Mod Beta 15e

With the recent alien attack thwarted in Brazil, the Council has requested XCOM's attention on a new threat. Dr. Shen has finished analysis of the device that former Triad gang member turned XCOM operative Shaojie Zhang handed over to Command when he defected. The device appears to be a communications transponder which interfaces with alien ship communication. By reverse engineering the device, Shen has created a set of beacons designed to throw off the navigation systems of a UFO, allowing a team of operatives to lure a UFO toward the beacons. This tech is planned to be deployed by the Council to stop an imminent threat - a massive alien Warship that is currently on approach toward Earth. The plan is to use the transponders aboard a Chinese commuter train to lure the ship toward China, where XCOM can then land a squad onto the ship itself. The ambitious plan will require two full squads of soldiers to carry out, and with the veteran soldiers expected to take on the warship itself, Lieutenant Montgomery Payson steps forward with a team of lower rank soldiers to handle the ground work.
