XCOM: Enemy Within + Long War Mod Beta 15e

Despite encountering a sizable force crewing the landed Transport ship, Strike One proved solidly capable of handling the alien contacts. With the huge craft secured, work has begun to salvage its superstructure into usable components and resources. Engineering estimates bountiful quantities of alien alloy and Elerium will be harvested from the ship. The mission was not without cost, however. Operatives Nicky Razor and Shaojie Zhang returned to base with significant wounds, and battle-damaged armor deemed to be no longer combat ready. In addition, Zhang's Autolaser suffered an overheating malfunction from combat damage and is being repaired.

Operations have continued as usual. The Covert Operations division has uncovered another Exalt cell operating in the United Kingdom, and agent Sarah Ivy has gone undercover to infiltrate and interrupt it. The North American satellite network suddenly pings another low-flying contact - this one a Raider craft. Like the Transport before it, the Raider lands, this time in Canada. Cautious of a possible retaliatory ambush, a squad assembles in the hangar and prepares to deploy in an attempt to secure another intact alien craft.
