XCOM2 - Episode 1: Crashing The Gates
4Welcome to my heavily modded XCOM2 series!
I'm playing on Commander with a few dozen mods, the most notable being A Better Advent and Grimy's Loot Boxes and I've also filled my character pool with my squadmates from the AAF and a few other people so I can get them killed for fun and/or berate them when they miss critical shots.
This is going to be a narrative focussed playthrough so I'm planning to leave the cutscenes in and not talk over them, play the tutorial to get the story, not playing with integrated DLC and things like that. Because the actual gameplay in Gatecrasher is agonisingly slow with no tactical decisions to be made, I've edited it down quite heavily to keep the story and little else. Feel free to skip to the next video if you don't want to sit through lots of cutscenes, though be aware that if you don't like the story then we can never truly be friends.
My ambition is to do daily releases but life does sometimes get in the way.
I'm not 100% happy about the sound balance in these early episodes but it gets better as it goes along.
