This is video #005 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party explored more of the Aurora Shelf. They went through the Ragrinar Passage. While there, they took out the Watchful Valencia. Scenes took place when they reached the Echoes of Gran Dell Citadel. Unity Combos were unlocked when they fought the Ritteli Rhinon. East of the citadel, the party took out the Treehugger Gerald. They also carried out the quest "The Very Lost Nopon" for Guguru and Babalulu. Now, the party will go northwest past the Echoes of Gran Dell Citadel and continue their search for Glimmer.

0:33 - Aurora Shelf, Elevator Area

The party resumes at the Elevator Landing Camp in the south of the Aurora Shelf.

They skip travel to the Echoes of Gran Dell Citadel landmark.

1:20 - Echoes of Gran Dell Citadel

The party follows the road northwest past the citadel. They find an Ether Channel.

The party approaches the target for a cutscene. They set up camp.

We swap to Glimmer. She is thrust into battle against two Skarn Volffs. She is a Healer, but these enemies present little problem.

Another scene takes place after. Glimmer runs into a mystery unit.

After the scene, she battles the Mystery Unit Captain and two Mystery Unit Soldiers. This is hard or impossible to win.

Another scene takes place afterwards. The unit's leader is quite familiar, if a bit older than when we last saw him in Xenoblade Chronicles 1.

14:03 - Clifftop Camp

We return to Matthew, A, and Nikol at the Clifftop Camp rest area. After some dialogue, they continue northeast.

They fight past an Incursion with Galde Volffs. Behind the elite Volff on the hill, there is an Ether Channel.

The party approaches the target to the northeast for a scene.

Afterwards, they continue on. In the northeast dead end, they find a Container. The contents include a Wind Bracelet.

The party turns northwest. Among some Aspar Eggs and a Menaas Aspar, they find an Accessory Unlock Kit. A uses this Accessory Unlock Kit and equips a Herald's Kneeguard.

When the party reaches the next target another scene takes place. The Pioneer's Camp is set up.

30:35 - Pioneer's Camp

The party registers a Collectopaedia entry. After saving, they rest at the Pioneer's Camp. A scene takes place.

We cut to Shulk's camp for a scene with Glimmer. Later, she decides to make a break for it.

Glimmer fights a couple of Liberator Sentries. Unlike the previous battle, this one is easy enough.

More scenes take place after the battle. It doesn't look like Glimmer's decision was good at all.

42:25 - Colony Eta Ferronis

Matthew and company eventually catch up. They join forces with Shulk in the battle against the Colony Eta Ferronis. Chain Attack becomes available with a couple of tutorials. Instead of Ouroboros Orders, Future Redeemed has Unity Orders. A Unity Order may be used if Chain Orders from both characters in a Unity pairing are completed in one Chain Attack.

Afterwards, Matthew, A, Nikol, and Shulk fight the Colony Eta Ferronis. In this game, Shulk functions as a Defender. The Ferronis is no pushover. It can inflict Break and Topple.

Another scene takes place after the battle. The Moebius has a surprise in store, but fortunately, another blast from the past shows up to help. This concludes Chapter 2.

I save the game. Next time, the party will start Chapter 3 and deal with the fused Ferronises.
