Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Part 80: Niranira's Sandy Search
1I spent a lot of time in Colony Mu to get to know Fiona and her soldiers.
I go through one more quest that mainly takes place outside of the Colony.
After gathering FIVE pieces of info to Discuss "What Washed Ashore" (which is all thankfully found on Mu's shore, itself)...
Ouroboros had different notes in their hands. they didn't make sense separately, but when Taion put them all together...
...it all forms... and island they can check out! An island with two trees!
This starts a Quest called "Distress Signal". The island is called Twinpalm Isle.
This island had a stranded Nopon on it called Niranira. These pieces were of him sending out messages. He's been looking for some kind of "quicksand island", and sent out a message to seek out some help with towards that.
And... he needed help off the island because he got shipwrecked.

The "quicksand island' Niranira is talking about is called Lavi Sandbar. Meet up with the blue furball there and then...
Suddenly, he runs off because he's so enamored to explore this dangerous island in a quest for "ROMAAAAAANCE!"
Ouroboros tried to catch up to Niranira, but it was too late. He ran into a quicksand pit, and could get out of it. Might as well save this stupid furball, yeah?

This quest was mostly about giving you an excuse to explore another huge landmass anyway. There's another Ferronis Hulk to reactivate here, for example. Take as much time as you want and not worry too much about Niranira being eaten by spiders and/or snakes, including the underground Unique Monster, Abysmal Rakshmi.

Meet up with Niranira to have Lanz scolding him being so reckless, but Niranira's recklessness is what kept motivating him to explore the island. He's looking for a certain landmass that was erased from time...
Oh... and this turned out to be the Ferronis Hulk that I was messing with earlier.
Niranira had deep feeling for this mass. His so called "romance". Taion convinced him that the Ferronis Hulk won't entirely be gone from time as long as he holds it dear to his memories and his heart.

I then took a detour from the Quest to try and investigate another Ferronis Hulk. The one in Everblight Plain, the very first area of the game. I also wanted to check up on some Colonies, such as Ethel's Colony 4, and Valdi's Colony 30.
Bring Fiona to Colony 30, and she'll love all of the Nopon scurrying around in it!
Meanwhile, in Colony 4, if you've completed Lanz's Ascension Quest, you'll get to check up on Garvel and his friends there.

Back on the Niranira quest, he wants Ouroboros to take him to the first person that discovered his message to begin with, who was Lotus.
So go to her back on Colony Mu's shores and Niranira will finally be able to thank Lotus in person, and even make a new friend!
Niranira's ultimate goal is to create a world map, but those Annihilation Events have been making this so hard for him to pull off. But now, his feelings and "romance" with landmasses will never vanish from his mind!

For now, I was done with Colony Mu after this.
But then I had to remember that Fiona and her Class were now mine to train and fight as or with.
At this point, I feel I've gathered enough Heroes and new Classes to try and attempt a third run through those Archsage Challenges...
