Xenogears part 17
3Recap: Citan, Rico, and Hammer are rescued by the Yggdrasil II after having been shot down by it. Bart tries his best to apologize. Meanwhile, Fei and Elly do their best to survive on the floating wreck where they've been stranded. Their Gears are with them, but underwater and unusable. They spot the same shielded floating structure in the sky that Fei had seen over the Aveh desert. Elly identifies it as Shevat, the floating country.
After some time, a salvage vessel happens upon them and scoops up the wreckage. Hans the first mate tells them they've been brought aboard the Thames, the floating city, and invites them to speak with the captain after looking around. The captain promises to return their Gears to them after they're cleaned off, and offers them some food. It comes up in conversation that the Thames is in the middle of a big excavation job for the Ethos.
Ominous vibrations rock the ship, and the captain is called away to the bridge, leaving Fei and Elly on their own. Looking out the window, they think they see a battle in the distance, and hurry to the bridge to find out what's going on.
