XENOPHOBE - ZX Spectrum VS Commodore 64 VS AMSTRAD CPC + ATARI S VS AMIGA - Comparison
Xenophobe was released in 1987 by Bally Midway. They created some classic arcade games over the years and this lifted directly from the Alien / Aliens movie theme with Star Trek connotations thrown in the mix for good measure.
Following its arcade release it made an obvious translation to the 8 Bit Home Computer systems of the day, in a similar vain to the majority of coin op releases of the time. The 8 Bit Home Computer releases included:
Commodore 64
Sinclair ZX Spectrum
Amstrad CPC
And it was also released on the 16 Bit Home Computers of the day namely:
Atari ST
Commodore Amiga
OGDuffy takes a look at these versions and gives his verdict to which he thinks is the best of the 8 Bit and 16 Bit Home Computer Versions.
Again giving his verdict on the best of the 2 system versions.
