Around 1 hour 29 minutes to beat. This may be the only playthrough of the game on Youtube. I was unable to find any others. Game can be pretty sloppy with hit detection. Set to 7 lives. Lives dont really matter unless going for a 1 CC run since losing all lives has the same effect as losing a single life. There are no stage checkpoints, only checkpoints at the bosses. Even if you lose a continue you start at the boss you got to. The stages themselves have to be completed in a single life.
Deaths edited out. I died on most boss encounters the first time but theres no benefit to showing the first death on each new boss, as theres no real benefit to beating a stage and boss on a single life. For the final boss you get a checkpoint for each new form of the boss.
