Xiaomi Technology Japan has rolled out its new 27-inch A27Qi monitor, designed with practical tech in mind. With a crisp WQHD resolution of 2,560 × 1,440 pixels and an IPS panel for wide viewing angles, this display offers 16.7 million colors and covers the full sRGB range plus 95% of the DCI-P3 gamut. It’s built to deliver consistent image quality with a brightness of 250 nits and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. The 100Hz refresh rate helps keep motion smooth when scrolling or working with dynamic content, making it a reliable option for gurus looking to set up a productive workspace. The monitor comes in at a price of 18,980 yen (about $140 USD, tax included). Xiaomi has focused on ensuring that the display performs consistently well for both professional and home use. The emphasis is clearly on functionality—providing accurate image reproduction and smoother transitions during fast-paced tasks. This approach is intended for tech-savvy gurus who value efficiency and clear visuals over flashy design. In addition to its display performance, the A27Qi includes features aimed at reducing eye strain during long sessions. It sports a TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light mode and DC dimming technology that help cut down on flicker. For connectivity, it offers one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, and a dedicated headphone jack, making it easy to hook up various devices. The monitor measures 612.5 mm wide, 170 mm deep, and 453 mm high, and it weighs around 4.2 kg. It also meets the VESA mounting standard of 75 × 75 mm, which means it’s flexible enough to fit into different setups.
