Xsyon prelude - indie sandbox mmo revisit
21Another indie sandbox mmo that's re-emerging now at the same time as mortal online Xsyon. Just as mortal online went free to play, so did Xsyon. same thing though, premium account required for the high end stuff. These games came out aprox at the same time a couple years ago. Xsyon is running a kickstarter campaign right now to fund an expansion and what I can only assume is an overhaul of the game with a type of funding that did not exist when it was first launched.
I'd say this game has a lot of great features, such as terraforming, which is really not seen in any other mmo then wurm online, while at the same time being a pretty hardcore setting.
It does suffer though from what most these games does, which is poor controls and interface.
I used to test this out a tiny bit back before and during it launch, but I really am clueless about how to play it :D thus this is not a tutorial or an informed review, so much as it is a heads up to you guys, that Xsyon exists :)
