This is just a demo so I’ll try not to be too harsh.

First thing the author needs to correct is the speed of the player, it feels too slow and heavy, too stiff. It’s just not fun to control.

Obstacles require too many hits to be destroyed, it get boring fast and you’ll choose just to ignore more of them because of that.

There’s problem with how cheap that boss is. At moments when you think you have the control, suddenly he keeps hitting and hitting . Needs more balance and also it was hard to see where’s the bbox of the boss.

For being a demo with just one stage, that ending is too long and you can’t skip it. Ending is not necessary for a so early stage of development demo.

It’s only a demo, but I hope the author improves from here onwards.
